Dr. Seshadri Iyengar a
freelance, neo classical Bharatanatyam dancer, choreographer, Homoeopathic
Physician, Aerobic/Yogercise instructor is
based in Bangalore/London. He has established himself as a
performer, choreographer, workshop leader and a teacher and
has extensively traveled in India, USA,
Canada, Europe and the UK. Described by the critics
as an outstanding Bharatnatyam technician and
an amazingly versatile dancer, Dr.Iyengar was honored to perform
internationally to rapturous applause and critical acclaim
in several prestigious venues.
Born into a family of art connoisseurs, he was drawn
towards rhythm, music and natural poise at the
age of 9. He presented ‘Arangetram’ on 16th June 1988.
He is an auditioned artist of the National Television
in India.
Initial Training in dance was under Smt. Vijashree,
Director Jayakalaniketan, Bangalore
During 1979 to 1981 he went for dance lessons
at the Keshava Nrithya Shala. Bangalore
Since 1982 he has been intensively training under Guru
Padmini Ravi. |
